Day 1: La Romana
Departure at 11:00 pm
Officially founded in 1897, this southern Dominican Republic port town owes its development to the installation of a large sugar cane mill built by Italian immigrants some twenty years later. It was first established in 1851 to facilitate maritime traffic, meaning the port has played a key role in the region's economic development. Boat is docked, no nautical activities are planned. Boarding and disembarkation port of call.
Day 2: Sailing on the open sea
Live the dream thanks to a wealth of onboard experiences on our incredible sailboat. Whether you choose some relaxing downtime or a buzzing activity, every moment is about pleasure and freedom.
Day 3: Prickly Pear / Virgin Gorda
Arrival at 7:00 am Departure at 5:00 pm
The 'Caribbean Beach Club' day on a privatised beach, perfect for a luxurious, relaxing break in a superb natural setting. Guests who book the "Virgin Gorda Panoramas" excursion will discover a spectacular geological treat. Gigantic granite boulders, sculpted by erosion, form natural emerald pools bordered by white sand. A unique landscape, between sea and rock, perfect for a refreshing dip and or to relax while admiring the scenery. Anchored boat, water sports at the beach (excluding water-skiing).
Day 4: Antigua
Arrival at 8:00 am Departure at 5:00 pm
The indented coastline of this former British colony has created incredible beaches, lined with secret coves and stretches of golden sand. Its picturesque harbour, bustling with old inns and traditional pubs, gives it an undeniable historic charm. Boat at anchor, access to the beach, dive locker closed.
Day 5: Saint-Barthlemy
Arrival at 8:00 am Departure at 2:00 am
This steep island is all about luxury. It beautifully showcases the serenity of an unspoiled environment and discreet tourism, loved by a discerning clientele. Its 17 private, varied beaches only add to the charming setting. Boat at anchor, access to the beach, and water sports available.
Day 6: Anguilla
Arrival at 8:00 am Departure at 5:00 pm
A long ribbon of stunning white sand lines the turquoise waters. A tiny, discreet island that attracts a VIP clientele in search of beauty and privacy makes this the perfect hideaway. Boat at anchor, access to the beach, and water sports available.
Day 7: Deshaies
Arrival at 8:00 am Departure at 5:00 pm
The village of Deshaies is in the lushest part of Papillon Island, and reveals the authentic charm of the easy-going Creole lifestyle. Time seems to stand still here, as you peacefully glide past this fishing village nestled between the green hills and peaceful shores, where nature reigns supreme. Anchored boat, water sports available (excluding water skiing).
Day 8: Pointe-à-Pitre
Arrival at 7:00 am
Pointe-à-Pitre is Guadeloupe's main town and showcases all the sensory pleasures of Caribbean island life. The market stalls are laden with spices, flowers, fish, and fruits for an authentic flavour and music-filled Creole vibe. A buzzing stopover, combining local traditions with a tropical atmosphere. Boat is docked, no nautical activities are planned. Boarding and disembarkation port of call.

We had an amazing 14-day cruise in the Caribbean Sea. Under the heartfelt and professional leadership of CdV Lucca Valmori, the entire team of GO’s and GE’s went above and beyond to cater to every wish of the guests. The spirit of a happy family hosting their friends was palpable. New Year’s Eve was a memorable celebration, bringing joy to all ages. Thank you for making our trip so special. We’ll definitely be back!
A beautiful greek island cruise on CM2! We booked a suite which was spacious with 2 bathrooms and 2 cupboards, somehow newly renovated. I loved the extra space! Our cabin lady Rizza was just super adorable! In general service and food has been upgraded since last year that was a very nice surprise! The staff is led by Adrien the CDV who practices leadership at its Best and it shows! Lyora from the excursion desk, Tan and Manauly from the conciergerie, Laura from the Spa, adorable Anouk from the teens club, Stephane & Milan from the nautical hall and everybody from the service personnel, thank you very much for this nice stay! Forgive me if I forgot somebody because you were all actually wonderful! Always happy sailing, Nathalie & Kimon
Lovely trip in the Caribbean with really good food, especially considering we were on a sailing boat! An amazing experience, and a massive thanks to Isabelle, Denise, and Lucas for their energy and kindness! Thanks also to the rest of the crew (everyone we met, to be honest) and to Stéphane, even though the nautical hall was not open :( We’ll definitely come back to the Mediterranean Sea to try it for sure!
We made a cruise with Club Med 2 beginning of July 2024 for a week visiting the Italian coast from Rome to Palermo (2 adults and 3 teenagers). We had never done a cruise before so a little afraid but it turned out to be a success.
The boot is not the youngest so do not expect glides, game rooms, … but it has the old grandeur with the sails, nice decks, … The cabins are rather small so I would recommend to take a suite like we did as they have a small seating area and 2 bathrooms. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, be it in the restaurant, bars, nautical deck, …The food is very nice and quite refined although you also have teenager food.
I understand that in general the passengers on the boat are pensioners which was also the case for our cruise, much appreciated BTW as it means peace and tranquility and no (would be) influencers. You should count on about 200 passengers. The only downside is that when you do organized trips the pace is very slow given the number of pensioners.
The good thing about the boat compared to the huge cruise ships, is that it can attend both the big cities but also the small costal towns. As such we visited small islands which are otherwise impossible to visit. The boat then just lies off the coast and they bring you with small vessels to the coast all day long. But you can also stay on the boat and do all kind of watersports on the nautical deck.
Bottom line: if you like parties, kicks, modern ships, slides, several restaurants, … then avoid this ship. If you like more refined peace and tranquility then I can only recommend Club Med 2
