You can apply for an e-VOA 14 days before your trip and no later than 48 hours before departure.

The VOA costs IDR 500,000 (approx. NZD 52) and is valid for up to 30 days, with the option to extend once onshore for another 30 days at a local immigration office. If you want to stay in Bali for over 60 days, you can apply for a Visitor Visa (B211A) before travel.

Leaving the airport is pretty easy as you will have access to a few different types of transportation. You can get to where you’re going by bus, car, or organized transport.

When you stay at Club Med Bali, you can request a roundtrip transfer from the airport to the resort. At the airport, you will be greeted by our friendly and professional drivers who will take you on the one-and-a-half-hour journey back to the all-inclusive resort.

The total distance (depending on the route) is around 13 kilometres, making for a short and pleasant ride.

Observing Central Indonesian Time (WITA), Bali is four hours behind Auckland or UTC/GMT +8. The day length is around 12 hours almost all year round and the local currency is Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). Also, the primary language is Balinese, but Indonesian is the official language, and you can also hear locals speak English.
